Keep Wales Tidy are looking for passionate, talented people who share their vision of a beautiful Wales that is cared for and that can be enjoyed by everyone.
They currently have the following three Project Officer vacancies:
Newport – working 35 hours per week, this is a permanent homebased role, covering the county of Newport.
Rhondda Cynon Taf – working 35 hours per week, this is a permanent homebased role, covering the county of Rhondda Cynon Taf.
Flintshire – working 35 hours per week, this is a temporary maternity cover role. Homebased and covering the counties of Flintshire and Wrexham.
The Project Officer will act as the Keep Wales Tidy point of contact for each county. They are looking for enthusiastic and innovative team members, who will engage the local community and facilitate, empower and support volunteers, and other local partners, to undertake a variety of activities to improve Local Environmental Quality (LEQ).
The Officer will work closely with the local authority to deliver the Caru Cymru project. The role will be flexible, with priorities changing depending on current funding sources and national priorities, including the delivery of paid-for service with companies, schools and other partners.
These posts are part-funded through the Welsh Government Rural Communities – Rural Development Programme 2014-2020, which is funded by the Welsh Government and the European Union.
