We are seeking an inspiring and strategic leader to serve as Chair of our Board, guiding Cynnal Cymru through its next chapter.

After more than two terms (over seven years) the current Chair will be standing down.

As Chair, you will play a key role in steering and championing our vision, mission, and long-term strategy, working with a dedicated Board of Trustees, to ensure good governance, sound decision-making and effective oversight that advances the values and purpose of the organisation.

You will lead the charity in partnership with our CEO, providing guidance, support and constructive challenge as needed. Above all, we are looking for someone who is deeply passionate about sustainability and is willing to act as a powerful ambassador for our work.

This is a great opportunity for the right person to play a significant role in furthering economic, social, and environmental sustainability in Wales.
